In 1997 Harvest Wholesale Floral Inc. was established in New York City, aiming to bring the highest quality, as well as the rare and unique fresh cut flowers from all around the world to the New York consumers. In 2010, we at Harvest Wholesale Floral Inc., collaborated once more with FSQ and opened A Rose by Harvest, the first “Rose only” shop in the NYC flower market, as well as the first Dutch walk in cooler with the same unique controls found as in advanced European cash and carries. A Rose by Harvest is exclusively aimed at offering the highest quality roses from Ecuador, as well as rarities and exceptional roses from other parts of the world. Today, we positioned ourselves as the leader of fresh cut roses in our market, and we are able to offer not only one of the largest collections of rarities and garden roses worldwide, but in total we can offer near 700 varieties, none which would have been possible if not for the tremendous network of Four Seasons Quality. In addition, the close cooperation FSQ has with top world breeders and suppliers enables us to bring the latest most contemporary varieties to our clients, often before they make it into the markets. To this day, we follow the strict philosophy that was handed over to us by Mr. Van Veen. Our rose bunches are each individually unpacked and inspected for damage and disease prior to being packed by our special breathing sleeves and are presented in water buckets filled with special solution in order to add quality and life to the roses.
