Privacy Statement & disclamer

Four Seasons Quality B.V. (hereinafter also referred to as: 'FSQ') attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy and we therefore process and secure your (personal) data carefully. In this privacy statement we explain what personal data we collect and use and for what purpose.

Processing of personal data
FSQ may process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. For example, you may provide us with your contact details if you want to communicate with us, if you wish to receive further information about our services, if you wish to apply for a position within our organisation or if you want to do business with us.

If you want to do business with us or we want to do business with you (your company or the company you work for), we will conclude an agreement. In that case, we will need some data from you, including personal data. Examples include the following personal data: (business) contact details (name, telephone number and email address).

We will then process these personal data for the purpose of performing our services and/or agreement and/or to inform you. After all, without these personal data we would not be able to perform our services and/or agreement and/or to inform you. We will use your personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing your request and/or performing the agreement.

Our company has security cameras installed. These security cameras are not aimed at the public road and are mounted at our own premises. We have a legitimate interest to use the security cameras. We believe it is important that our property and our employees are protected. Our camera system is mounted and set up in such a way that it has the least possible impact on your privacy.  The cameras are mounted visibly and we inform our visitors of the presence of cameras.

If necessary, also through a third party we might be able to acquire information indirectly related to you. When we do so, we ask the relevant third party to guarantee that the information has been acquired by them legitimately and that we are entitled to acquire that information from them and to use it.

In addition, we are interested in data that say something about the use of our website, for example the number of visitors in a certain period, from which countries our visitors come and which pages are visited the most. To this end, we may record your IP address and domain name. To be able to adapt the facilities and functions to the user's equipment, we also keep track of the type of browser you use to visit our website. The information acquired is the property of FSQ.

On its website, FSQ also uses functional cookies. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to remember your settings and preferences. You can disable these cookies via your browser. The way of doing this varies from one browser to another; if necessary, consult the help function of your browser. You can also set your browser not to receive any cookies, but this is a limitation in the user experience of the website.

Our website also places cookies from the American company Google, as part of the 'Analytics' service. We use this service to monitor and obtain reports on how visitors use the website. Google may disclose this information to third parties if statutorily required to do so, or in so far as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. This is not within our control.

Use of personal data
FSQ collects and uses your personal data to provide the information and services you requested, to manage the website and to combat theft. FSQ may also use your personal data to keep you informed about the services of FSQ. We may also use your personal data to conduct research and carry out analyses, with the aim of improving both our website and our services.

FSQ needs a legal basis in order to be allowed to process your personal data. FSQ will process your personal data based on processing grounds, such as the performance of an agreement, on the basis of a statutory obligation, on the basis of legitimate interests of FSQ or with your consent. In the case of a legitimate interest of FSQ, we will not unduly harm your interests or violate your fundamental rights and freedoms. In that case, you will at any time have the right to lodge an objection against the processing of your personal data for reasons connected to your specific situation.

You are entitled to withdraw any given consent at any time.

Your privacy will be respected by all our employees. The information and personal data will be treated confidentially, also by third parties who are responsible for the security of your data storage and will not be used for other purposes than those mentioned.

Transfer to third parties
FSQ does not sell, rent out or lease customer lists to third parties. FSQ will never disclose your personal data without notice, except if this is legally required or we believe in good faith that such an action is necessary to:

  • comply with a legal request; or
  • protect and defend the rights or property of FSQ; or
  • act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of FSQ or the general public.

However, the personal data provided by you may in some cases be processed by third parties. For example, FSQ may hire a supplier to carry out administrative and operational activities to support our relationship with you. These suppliers are obliged to comply with contractual and other statutory obligations to handle your personal data confidentially and to respect your privacy. They therefore only have access to the personal data they need to carry out their work. If required, we will enter into a data processing agreement with this third party.

Retention of personal data
The starting point for the preservation of personal data is that all data will not be stored longer than necessary. FSQ will therefore not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which the data are collected. An exception is made for data that we must store longer because the law requires us to do so.

The camera footage we take will not be stored longer than 4 weeks, unless the images are important for a (police) investigation. If the latter is the case, the images will in any case be stored as long as the police investigation is ongoing. Thereafter, the images will be deleted.

Security of personal data
FSQ will ensure appropriate organisational, technical and physical protection of your personal data. FSQ will securely store the personal data that you provide to computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected against unauthorised access, use or disclosure.

Automated decision-making
FSQ does not take decisions on the basis of automated processing on matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals.

Your rights
You have the right, among other things, to information, access or rectification, erasure, limitation of the processing, the right to object and the right to data portability (the right to ask for the data that we process about you to be transferred to you or to another organisation).
If you wish to make use of your rights, you can send a specified request to info@fsq.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, please send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please make the passport photo, MRZ (Machine Readable Zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. FSQ will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

We will always do our utmost to grant your requests. However, this is not always possible, for example if we are statutorily required to store certain data.

Finally, you will always be entitled to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. It can be contacted via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

Amending the privacy statement
This privacy statement may be amended. FSQ will occasionally update the privacy statement to reflect company and customer feedback. FSQ advises you to periodically consult this statement to remain informed about how FSQ protects your information.
